Our friend and fellow board member, Bob Wenger, passed away in January. Bob was a tireless worker for off-leash opportunities for all of us and was instrumental in the Pine Nursery Off Leash Area becoming the incredible OLA that it is today. If you are interested in contributing to a memorial to Bob, please click on the donate button to the left or send your contribution to us at P. O. Box 2091, Bend OR 97709; please note "Bob" on your check or in the Pay Pal box labelled "instructions to seller.".
Thanks to Bob for everything.
DogPAC's mission is to promote the health and enjoyment of dogs and their guardians through the provision of off-leash recreation opportunities in Central Oregon.
DogPAC hopes that our site will enhance your enjoyment of your outdoor experiences with your dog.
It is important for you and others that your dog behaves responsibly
when off-leash. Please check out our Get Smart webpage for etiquette tips and other useful information. If you are interested in current advocacy work to increase access, please refer to the FAIR website.
Our three keys to successful outdoor experiences:
Enjoyment, Responsibility, and Access.
Our Accomplishments
catalyzed Bend Park and Recreation District's expansion from 1 OLA to 7 in 2009;
created & maintain Oregon's only groomed ski/snowshoe trail that allows dogs;
adopted and maintain the GoodDog! area of the Deschutes River Trail;
instrumental in the relaxation of forest summer trail restrictions;
and continuing to expand forest and park off-leash access.
Your donation funds trail maintenance;
volunteers drive our dreams.
